    Description

    1930s Chinese Mahjong Set
    1920s to 1930s Chinese mahjong set stored in a lovely multi-drawered rosewood box with sliding cover and brass handles.
    Cover slides off to reveal 5 sliding drawers enclosing bone and bamboo tiles and dice.
    Size of case is 9 inches wide by 6.5 inches high by 5.5 inches deep.
    Size of tiles is 1 inch long by .75 inches wide by .50 inches thick.
    Condition:  The box has some damage which adds to its authenticity and ageing process (see pictures). The tile set is missing a number of tiles which can be replaced through the internet. The price has taken these issues into consideration.
    This is a 90-year-old box and set. For box collectors, vintage game acquirers, or for playing with friends, the price makes this a great purchase.
