Q:For the rainbow filaments, how far apart are the color changes?
A: For this type rainbow filament, normally around 15 meters change color.
Q:The Rainbow filament has two colors,how can I know which color I received .
A: The colors are randomly delivered , both are very gorgeous .
Q:Does the filament have a gloss or matte look when printed?
A :a bit gloss, but not very shiny like silk-like shiny filament.
Q:Does this work with a pen?
A .It's PLA so it should work with any 3D pen that uses 1.75mm filament. I've used it on my printer as low as 185c and it extruded fine. If your pen reaches that temp or higher then you should be good.
With a pen you probably won't see too many color transitions per print, unless you're using -a lot- of filament. I guess… see more
Q:Do you know if the rainbow gradient repeats on the roll? What is the weight of filament per full rainbow?
A:the colors reapeat red,orange,yellow,green, blue,purple,white on the roll. net weight is 1kg
Q: How often does the filament change color in meters please?
A:In the spool I received, the filament didn’t seem to change by regular amounts. I printed a uniform column, and the bands of color were different heights. Also, there was more blending between some colors than others. I suspect that you just have to take a chance using these kinds of filaments.
If you want to have more colors,you need print a very large model, but if you print a small model you may see only one color . so the color changes depend the size you printed .
