Picture 1:
Saw this painting at a “High Quality Item” Estate Sale. Picture was being presented as Native Art. I really like the look of this painting. Colors were standing out so I won this auction.
Picture 2/3/4:
Did a close-up of actual picture and saw/noticed what looked like a signature in upper right corner of picture. That was odd, most artist sign in lower left or lower right of picture. So, I turned picture so signature was in lower right corner and everything looked right. I believe the picture was hung wrong for years plus hanging hardware installed incorrectly.
Picture 5: Close-up of signature. As I began my research of signature, the name EDDIE Taita Blitner kept coming up. This picture may be a piece of “Aboriginal Art” not “Native Art”. Did I just fine a Diamond in the Rough? Continued research, unfortunately, I could not match up what I viewed as EDDIE to EDDIE Taita Blitner signature, to my art piece signature.
Picture 6: Picture of back of painting. This is an older picture based on looking at moisture marks. I would suggest replacing frame since it is fragile. I did not remove picture from frame,
Conclusion, I am selling (My Opinion) what I believe to be an Aboriginal Art painting, “AS IS”. If someone recognizes artist signature, I sure would like to know who it is.
