This Fabric is made with Mitsubishi 3k carbon fiber.
This fabric has a width of 50" , tow size of 3k and is woven in a 2x2 V-Twill weave. This is a very unique weave combines the beauty of a 2x2 twill but at the mid-point it reverses the weave to give a mirrored image. You can see this style used on the Pagani hypercars. This look can be achieved by piecing fabric together, -however you get a much cleaner look if it is woven that way from the beginning.
To harden the raw fabric into a usable form, you will need the appropriate
epoxies or resins for your project.
We take care in shipping our items and we will never fold the fabric. Our fabric is always rolled onto a tube to prevent distortion of the weave.
This item is listed by the linear yard, which is 36" long by the 50" width. If you purchase a qty of 2, you will receive one continuous piece of fabric 72"x50" and so on. We will leave the fabric in one continuous piece.
