Used shirt on set wardrobe HBO-TRUE BLOOD. ERIC NORTHMAN’S (Vampire Monarch) SHIRT IN THE “SEX DREAM” SCENE WITH JASON STACKHOUSE IN THE 2ND EPISODE OF THE FINAL 7TH SERIES TRUE BLOOD.
This is the shirt shown in the stills from the show True Blood from HBO. In this scene Eric stands in front of the window and pulls the unbuttoned shirt tucked in his pants out. The shirt was purchased from “It’s A Wrap” a store located in Burbank California which deals in sales of wardrobe and Costumes from the major studios. On the tag shown, the initials TB was used by wardrobe to identify for the show True Blood. The scene was a dream that Jason Stackhouse (played by Ryan Kwanten) was having where he is drawn to and went to find and see Eric the Ruler over the Vampire community. The “Sex Dream” scene was one of the most talked about and epic of the series, where two main very attractive male characters engage in a very heated and erotic male on male sex scene on a major network. HBO took two leading and main male characters and created what was one of the most discussed scene from the series and one of the most erotic scene played by two very attractive main characters in the series, in which HBO had an abundance of attractive men and women engaged in this series. .
The shirt was taken from the wardrobe department from the show when the department was clearing out some of its collections that were no longer needed for filming. It has not been cleaned or pressed so it shows the same creases as seen in the still from the scene. Creases can still be seen from where the garment had been tucked in the pants prior to the character Eric pulling his shirt out. The collar is very distinct since it is a different cut from more common collars in dress shirts. The size is 16 1/2 34/36. The color is a sort of dark blue/black. In the lighting on the set, it was very dark and looks more black on
Screen. The character Eric Northman was played by Alexander Skarsgard. The role of Jason Stackhouse was played by
Ryan Kwanten.
